Lit-up Bamboo Fence

A bamboo fence gracefully curves around a humble yet exquisite Japanese inner garden, creating a tranquil sanctuary. Embedded lighting between the layers illuminates the iconic bamboo pattern, best enjoyed during twilight from the comforting hinoki-bathtub.

Upcycling: The bamboo poles used for this project were originally intended for another endeavor but proved to be too short. However, by strategically arranging the fence in a chosen pattern, the sections could be alternated to perfectly match the required measurements on site.
