オリバー・フランツ  （日本語）

スイス出身。現在は、京都在住。
同国・ローザンヌのEcole des Métiers Lausanne(家具職人専門学校) 卒業後、家具職人として修行。2001年から2004年にかけて、Zurich University of the Arts (スイス)、Multiple Global Design SA (スイス)、IK Design Centrum, Lund University (スウェーデン)、にて工業デザインを学ぶ。後に、Zenit Design Group (スウェーデン)、One & Co (アメリカ)、METAPHYS / ハーズ実験デザイン研究所(大阪)にて、プロダクトデザイナーとして勤務。2009年、日本・大阪にてSilent. (サイレント)を創設。2012年には、拠点をスイスと日本に置くidéel-lab.を創設。

Oliver Franz (English)

Originally from Switzerland, he lives and works in Kyoto, Japan.
Following his training as a cabinetmaker at the Ecole des Métiers Lausanne (vocational school, Switzerland), he studied industrial design at the Zurich University of the Arts (Switzerland) and IK design Centrum (Lund University, Sweden) from 2001 to 2004, including internships at Multiple Global Design SA (Switzerland) and Design Group Zenit (Sweden). He then was a product designer at One & Co (USA) and METAPHYS / Hers experimental Laboratory, Japan before then founding “silent.” in Osaka in 2009. In 2012 he co-founded “ideel-lab” in Switzerland and Japan.

Oliver Franz (Français)

Originaire de Suisse, il vit et travail à Kyoto, Japon.
Après sa formation d’ébéniste à l’Ecole des Métiers Lausanne (Suisse), il étudie le design industriel à l’Haute École d’art de Zurich (Suisse) et au IK design Centrum, l’Université de Lund (Suède) de 2001 à 2004, integrant des stages chez Multiple Global Design SA (Suisse)et chez Design Group Zenit (Suède). Ensuite il fait de la conception de produits chez One & Co (USA) , METAPHYS / Hers experimental Laboratory (Osaka, Japon) et fonde “silent.” à Osaka en 2009. En 2012, il co-fonde “idéel-lab”, basé en Suisse et au Japon.

Oliver Franz (Deutsch)

Ursprünglich aus der Schweiz, lebt und arbeitet in Kyoto, Japan.
Nach seiner Ausbildung als Tischler an der Ecole des Métiers Lausanne (Berufsschule, Schweiz), studierte er Industriedesign an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Schweiz) und IK Design-Centrum (Lund University, Schweden) von 2001 bis 2004, und absolviert Praktika bei Multiple Global Design SA (Schweiz) und Zenit Design Group (Schweden). Dann war er Produktdesigner bei One & Co (USA) und Metaphys / Hers Experimental Laboratory (Japan) bevor er “silent” in Osaka im Jahr 2009 gründet. Im Jahr 2012 ist er Mitbegründer der “Idéel-lab” in der Schweiz und in Japan.
