INFORMATION
Bombori is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional chouchin, the Japanese lantern using design elements found in temple and shrine architecture. The bold shape of the lamp combined with laminated washi-paper creates a modern, friendly and timeless object.

As the lamp is hung, it will sway gently with the wind will create and animate shadows to its surroundings. The tripodic stand allows setting on Kyoto various street shapes and angles while keeping the lamp perfectly in its vertical axis.
